Jammu & Kashmir Bank / J&k Bank — Agriculture loan

I was the guarantor of one person who had a business/ agriculture loan ending in 0015 in j&k bank . On my insistence, the said person gave J&k bank another person as guarantor and thus I was freed from the guarantorship. The concerned branch told me that your name, as guarantor, has been replaced in the said person's loan account and that now your credit score will not get affected. But due to late payments on his part has hit my cibil score to a considerable extent. This is totally unjustified as I am no longer his guarantor and as such, my cibil score should not get affected.
