[Resolved]  Jet Airways — flight cancelled 9W 0521

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this email in regards to my flight 9W 0521 departing from JED to BOM on 5th January, 2015. The scheduled time of departure was 23:40 local time. Due to technical issues, the flight was delayed and we were waiting for 3 hours at the terminal without any proper information. Then finally the Duty Manager incharge for Jet aiways showed up and informed us that the flight has been cancelled and HOTAC will be provided to us. Then after an hour, arrangements were made for the hotel and we were taken to the hotel. And it is very dissapointing and frustrating to know that the hotel given to us is one of the cheapest and dirtiest hotel in the city. Now to add to this frustration, we were told that we have to share the rooms. I do not understand that how the hell we can share the rooms with people we dont even know. And how your company and your staff can take such heartless decisions. Keeping in my mind that our baggages were already checked in and we only had access to our hand baggage, we should have been provided with a more suitable accomodation to make us more comfortable rather than just dumping us somewhere. We were not given even a bottle of water in the room. When we asked the hotel staff, we were told that they have been informed that only breakfast should be provided and nothing else. Gosh !! I couldn't believe my ears. I have been flying as a Cabin Crew for the past 8 years and based in Jeddah. I am also a private pilot. We have technical issues as well, but we have made sure that our passengers are provided with the best facilities. I will tell you an incident when one of our aircraft was grounded in HKG due to technical issues which was transit stop while the final stop was MNL. In this case all our pax were given HOTAC at the Regent hotel at HKG airport. So you see the difference. I am currently spending my time in the hotel lobby as the room is too dirty to enter. I am not expecting any reply or any kind of compensation for such treatment. But I would like to let you know that I will make sure that this incident reaches to maximum number of people through the media. Please take this as my official complaint and warning.
