On 23-feb-2016, i got my boarding pass from jet-airways check-in counter at 07:41 hrs for flight no. 9w365 from delhi to pune scheduled departure time was 08:30 hrs and when i reached to the departure gate, no jet-airways official was there. Only one security personnel, who said he knows nothing and can do nothing, even can't call any official of jet-airways. As far as i remember the time was 8:10 or 8:12 am, authenticity of which can be checked with cctv camera footage.
I was seeing that the flight was still there at the duct and i was standing there helpless for another 7-8 minutes, after which an official came from the duct and said he can do nothing, god only knows the reason. The flight was still there at the duct and i was standing there helplessly and remained there further for about another 7-8 minutes .
I asked for full refund of my ticket money and in reply ms aarti khanijo of jet-airways replied that since you were not in time, it is not possible to process the refund.
I wanted to know from jet-airways that - your system showed that a passenger has checked-in well before time, you ndid not bother to call that passenger before closing the gate. Can you please let me know, why any efforts were not made by the airlines to trace the passenger out, inspite of knowing very well that the passenger was there and why you chose to fly with a vacant seat (As claimed).
I presume that the flight was over booked and that is the reason that you closed your boarding gates before time.
Further i want to know that why the luggage of a confirmed ticket passenger was not loaded to the flight.
If jet-airways is not giving proper response to complaints lodged through you please let me know address where i can lodge complaint against jet-airways for refund of my money Was this information helpful? |
