Jet Airways — Rude Ground Staff | |||
Highly disappointed!! My colleague and I had done our reservation for Flight 9W457 from Mumbai to Hyderabad at 7:20 AM on 8-Apr-2014. As per the information on the ticket the closing time for the check-in counter was 6:35 AM (45 mins before departure). Due to unexpected delays we were at the airport at 6:25 and reached the Jet Airways counter at 6:36, at which point the lady at the counter informed us that she wouldn’t be able to board us since we were a minute late. She proceeded to write 6:36 on out tickets before returning them to us, and asked us to meet the duty manager. We approached the duty manager after this incident and without even checking the system she informed us that the flight was full. We tried explaining our situation, informing her that we were delayed due to reasons beyond our control. But we still reached the counter by 6:36(a minute late). It was imperative that we on that flight since we had to attend a work assignment in Hyderabad. The duty manager, the lady behind the counter and the other staff were very rude, arrogant and condescending. There was no sincere effort to help or accommodate us. This kind of treatment and behavior from the staff of an organization like Jet Airways is highly disappointing and unbecoming. This lead to us booking a ticket with Air India immediately who were a lot more professional and helpful. I hope you would address this issue so that any future customers will not suffer and be inconvenienced as we were. Was this information helpful? | |||
