[Resolved]  Jewelskart — Refund of product

I placed an order with Jewels kart (Order Id: #[protected]) on 15 June, 2013 worth Rs 3,724.00 and received the same on 21 June, 2013. I found the product not exactly as it was being displayed and so, did not liked the product. On 22 June, 2013, I placed a return request for the same for which the return pickup was arranged by the company itself. The return pickup was done on 27 June, 2013. Company's customer representatives told that i will be informed about the status of return order within 2 days but till 11th July, 13 no information was conveyed regarding the product returned, whether it had been received at their end or not. After so many calls and emails, and even raising many complaints with the customer executives, I was informed that they have not received any status update of the order. As so many days had passed since the return shipment was done, and no information was being provided by the company. I kept calling them to know about the return status. Finally I was informed that their courier company is unable to locate the parcel and that parcel was missing at their end.
On 11th July, 13 I was informed that the parcel had been received and the cheque (of the amount to be refunded) will be refunded within 10-12 days. On 18 July, 2013 I received a message from the company stating that the cheque had been dispatched. And on 20 July,13 a person from e-Com (the courier company) came to my premises and asked for the parcel to be returned. I was completely unable to understand that the product which had already been reverse picked up on 27 June, 13 but still after that their people approached me 3 or 4 time for the reverse pickup of the same. And when I got the message for delivery of cheque and again I was asked for the parcel to be returned. When I asked about all this chaos, neither of the delivery agent nor the Company's call centre executive were able to provide any information regarding this. I did not receive the cheque that was supposed to be delivered. Again after many calls and emails, no satisfactory response was provided.
On tracking the courier details, it stated that the ‘recipient had declined to receive’ and that too without anyone approaching or contacting me regarding the courier. Again after registering complaint to the call centre executive, they promised the delivery of the cheque by that day only, but even then it was not delivered.
On 2nd August, 2013 I received a call from the company’s Customer executive who asked me to confirm the receipt of the cheque. I had not received any courier/cheque, so I informed them about the same that I have not received the cheque and I asked for the recipient’s details to which the courier had been delivered. I even registered the complaint for the same. But till date i.e. 14 Aug, 13, I have not received the proof of delivery or even the name of the receiver of that courier. Every time I call them, I get the same reply that we have asked the courier company for Proof of delivery and it will be arranged in 2-3 days. But even after 12 days no information has been provided.
I am fed up of calling them again and again and wasting my money. I have already wasted a lot of money in making so many calls to them and that too of no use. The kind of service and assistance provided by this company (Deals Kart) is really pathetic.
