Issuance of blank slip for ticket
I boarded 335 series Volvo bus [KA-01 FA 2265] in the afternoon of Sep 10, 2014, around 1:15 PM, at Murugeshpalya stop and asked for a ticket to Marathahalli bridge from the lady conductor of the bus. After I paid the money she gave a blank slip in return as ticket. It did not have any details like boarding point, destination, distance or the ticket amount. When asked, she said the machine was having printing problem. To verify if she was telling the truth, I asked her to give me another Rs.20 ticket and check if it had the same printing problem every time. She refused to do it although I was ready to pay the money. To make things worse, she dared me to lodge a complaint and began verbal abuse.
She is eating away public money which has to genuinely reach the BMTC coffers. Please take necessary action against her, or, if the instrument is genuinely faulty, do not let conductors use them.
