I went to karikkineth silk adoor in late april 2017. First, they are definitely wayy overpriced for the same quality clothing in other stores. Still, i spent more than 56, 000 rs that day. I paid in us dollars at 64.50 rate. Oh, and any discount? Hardly. And any gifts? 2 hankercheifs lol. Nakkitharamsss... A few days later, i went again to get net material for my sari blouses. Ended up buying a lehenga as well and bought lining material for that lehenga blouse. I came here a second time because one, i was familiar with their selections and two, they take us dollars. Since i didnt have much rupees on hand, i went to this place otherwise i wouldnt go. But this time, they couldnt change the dollar. The guy they talk to for conversion didnt pick up the phone lol loser. And the cashier offered me rate 64. I said no way, thats a loss for me and said ill buy the sari blouse materials in rupees and leave the lehenga and lehenga lining. Thats when things got messy. They refused to take back the cut material for the lehenga blouse lining.
So lets think about this. I spent 56, 000 rs the first time. I am a returning customer. Im buying a standard cut 1 meter lining at an overpriced 89 rs (Average is 40). Total cost this time is 2621. And they couldnt write off a measley 89 rupees??? They couldnt get the rate for the dollar, its their fault, its the companys fault to guarantee this service and if they cant, they must be gracious enough to give an incentive to come back. They should acommodate!! That is basic business principle. Retain customers... Brand reputation.. Customer loyalty. If you cant write off 89 rupees, you are terribly ignorant and rude in the field of ethics. How do you expect customers to come back if you milk every cent out of them?
What the hell am i supposed to do with a lining of a blouse that i dont have? Its cut to 1 meter, if they are smart, they can resell it to another customer. Its not a perishable food with an expiration date, its cloth for gods sake. If they were even smarter, they would take the dollar, watch the market and convert it when the rate is higher however long it takes, if you dont need liquid cash for short term costs, in which case, this huge company can definitely afford to do. So why this pettiness? Why this stinginess? Why this absolute embarassment? Ayyyeeeee. Pitiful.
The level o[censored]nprofessionalism, the pro and floor manager, their attitude, rude talk, and blatant disregard for customer respect was intolerable. This is not how you do business. The excuse that this is management policy and that rules are rules is #. You must be gracious to returning customers. I was thinking of going for a third time to get gifts for my friends, but hell no im not coming back. That was going to be an estimated 10, 000 rs purchase. Oh well, its your loss karikkineth. When i lose my respect for you, be warned that i will tell all the people i know to stay away from you, trust me on that. If you keep this up, karikkineth, you will be shut down before you breakeven within 5 years. Lol. Peace out.
Ps. The dollar rate was 64.60. I would have lost a good amount of money if i felt like converting all of my money.
