Date & Time: 3rd April, 2024, 11:49 pm (Old Panvel) Garden hotel stop.
Bus number: R.MH.05 R.1143
A sat on the bus and requested a ticket to Panvel railway station. I requested the conductor for a ticket (Rs 10). I have a Rs 100 note. The bus conductor did not have change and asked for Rs 10 change; I politely declined. So he asked me to get off the bus. I refused, stating that I cannot because it is an urgent situation for me. But he yelled and forced me to get off; I resisted again, so he grabbed me and grabbed my bag, threatening to throw it out the bus. I asked him how he could pull off it. So he replied that he could, and that he would slap me on the face and throw me out of the bus (this was all happening at the Panvel Bus Stand stop), and that he wouldn't allow the bus to move until I got off. He said, 'Ja jisko complaint karne ka hai kar.'
A passenger sitting next to me was witnessing all of this, and eventually the passenger intervened and gave Rs 10 on my behalf, and I got the ticket, and the bus started and arrived at the Panvel railway station stop. When I asked for his name since I intended to complain about him, he said, 'Ticket p mera naam hai ja kar complaint.'
I'm waiting for your action against this violent bus conductor who was about to smack me in the face and throw me and my bag off the bus. What if he'd done that to me? I'd like to know what action will be taken against him. Was this information helpful? |
