[Resolved]  L I C of India — no response on surrendered policies...

I surrendered four policies bearing numbers[protected] to 959 to LIC, Patto, Panaji, Goa on June 12. on inquiry i was told that the policies were forwarded to LIC, Vasco. two weeks have passed, no response. lic's website gives two BSNL numbers, 2513908 and 2513324. a grievance officer by name b g shirodker is to attend to the grievances on 2513324, as per the website. all these three phones ring but are not picked up. the panaji do grievance officer twice confirmed on no 2438418 that she too is unable to contact their own branch office! she says the staff is all on leave due to month end. i have been on the job for the last five days, but i get no favorable response.
