Dear Magic Brick team,

I have already sent this complaint to your (Magicbricks) concern team at your e-mail id [protected]@magicbricks.com but re-posting here below on consumer complaint portal with a hope to get justice.

Please refer various correspondence as well as my telecon dated 12/10/2022 with your sales representative Warisha Shafi madam,

In this connection I would like to made this clear that the reason I am writing this letter to you is not to get the money back but to show the loss to a client like us due to not getting the service we expected from your representatives. Despite taking a paid services plan for selling my property, due to the negligent attitude of your representatives, I lost 40 lakhs of rupees and lost my valuable time by relying on you. As of today, I have a debt of 40 lakh rupees and it is necessary to pay it immediately. Only and only by virtue of trusting you (Magicbrick) and due to the malpractice and inefficiency of your sales team representatives.

I thought that (Magicbrick) is a professional company and their sales representative has the quality and skill to sell your property within the stipulated time frame. I was under impression that the result which i cannot get by posting free advertisement on your property portals will be achieved by taking your paid services. I thought that we can trust you blindly, reliability and professionalism in work will be in this company. And you (Magicbrick) can fulfill my needs. And will complete the work perfectly and fulfill your promises. But despite time to time warnings from my side, my property was not sold due to the lazy and careless attitude of your representatives, time was wasted and disappointment and debt came here.

Recent conversation with your sales representative warisha shafi made it clear that I would not be able to get any help other than his apology. How easily your sales representative just apologized and walked away from the matter without fulfilling her promise. But in this cases it was I who was overwhelmed, only and only by showing blind faith in your representatives. Who should we tell about the loss we incurred (a loan of Rs. 40 lakhs)?

I have decided to take responsibility so that the fraud that happened to me does not happen to anyone else and so that others can learn from this case and become aware and therefore I am writing this letter to you. Hope my letter will be filed and justice will be done.

You may note from the trailing correspondence and proof available with me that 1) Not a single genuine lead provided by your RM during my paid plan period of 2 months. Further you may note that 2) No action taken by your sales person Warisha Shafi against my repeated request to change RM appointed for me as b'coz of her (RM - Relationship manager) lazy and negligent attitude it will not be possible to sell my property in 1 month and I will incur a huge loss. 3) As per record available with me my plan actually starts from 25/08/2022 instead of date of payment made to you i.e. 08/08/2022 and expire validity 07/10/2022. This is all i am saying b'coz all the further processes (i.e. appointment of RM (Relationship manager), photo shoot of my property, attractive, impressive, suitable content writing for my property, and posting of my property after my confirmation to your draft advertisement had been done in next 15-17 days after payment made from my end to you (i.e on 08/08/2022) 4) As mentioned above during preliminary approach from your sales representative warisha shafi madam stated that as per our data analysis many customers are interested in your property and we can convert these customers into your genuine customers and help you to sell your property immediately if you took our paid plan services. Kindly let me know is this statement true and Is it in line with professional ethics/principles? B'coz after taken your paid plan services till expiry of that plan your appointed RM as well as sales team unable to deliver the result and not able to give me a single genuine lead and property unsold till date. Hope you check your record and think on these points.

I am now awaiting your reply. After getting a written reply from you, it will be decided whether to go to the consumer court to seek justice or not.
