[Resolved] MakeMyTrip.com — Not reiburment of flight ticket | |||
Dear Helpdesk, Please find the attachment in the mail regarding reimbursement in respect to cancellation of ticket which we have not received yet. Today I had a words with CCE of make my trip regarding reimbursement, he told me that your ticket was no show by airline. I am forwarding you the details(cancellation mail), the time is around 09:06:43 IST for one ticket & for other 09:08:27 IST & we have to travel at around 15:30. How it could be possible that tickets cancelled 6-7 hours back & that too refundable, will be no show. As corporate employee & frequent traveller, we will not tolerate this type of discrepancy & will escalate the same. And believe me will drag you to consumer forum for such type of fraud. And I am also marking the other ALSTOM employee whose ticket was with me & also the tickets was booked by him on my behalf both for him & me to travel to same destination. In reference to your complaint, we have validated your case and found that on 12-Jul-15 at 09:08:27 IST, user opted for special claim option “Ticket Directly cancelled with Airline “while raising his cancellation request. This option is selected only when a passenger has cancelled his booking with the airline directly but in this case, tickets were not cancelled. Post receiving this cancellation, we have informed passenger that since cancellation request is made under special claim option, so we will verify details with the airline and then process refund accordingly and tat of 7 working days was shared.
Due to Invalid cancellation option selected by the user online on our website, booking was not cancelled and as travel date was on 12-Jul-15 @ 15:30 hrs hence airline marked this booking as no show. Post receiving this request, we have verified details with the airline and then only refund has been processed accordingly.
We regret to inform you that, no further refund on this booking is possible. We thank you for contacting us.
