[Resolved]  MakeMyTrip India — Confirmed Ticket get auto cancelled because of MMT's portal technical flaw.

On 30th 4.30 PMI had made online tickets from Bhubaneswar to Delhi and return. Inadvertently instead of 5th May, 2017 from Bhubaneswar I made it on 10th and instead of 10th from Delhi I made it on 5th. So for reversing the tickets I paid Rs.5, 207/- as the differential amount and the portal message said the new tickets will be sent to be in some time. After waiting for sometime when the tickets were not received on my mail I called the MMT call center. The call center executive said since he cannot make the modifications due to technical problems he would transfer my call to the Indigo directly with whom I can sort out the problem. I insisted that since I have already paid to MMT the difference amount for rescheduling the onus is on MMT to sort it out with Indigo instead of transferring me to Indigo. But the executive was adamant to transfer my call so I yielded. When I spoke to the Indigo Call center they said they can help me with rescheduling only one ticket i.e Delhi to Bhubaneswar because there is no other ticket which in appearing on the PNR bearing No.U9MNPS. When I inquired about the ticket for Bhubaneswar to Delhi for which I had already paid completely and even the rescheduling fee, Indigo said there is no other ticket appearing on the PNR and I have to sort that out with the MMT. Indigo however rescheduled my flight to 10th for Del to BBS without any extra charges. When I again called to the MMT find out about the ticket from BBS to Del, they (one Mr. Gaurav) admitted that because of technical reasons my BBS to DEL flight ticket got cancelled however they will sort out the problem within 24 hrs and issue me a fresh ticket for 5th in the BBS to DEL sector. When I did not get any calls till 11.00 am on 1st May, 2017, I called again to MMT and narrated my story yet again for almost 1/2 hr. The executive (Ms. Ranjeeta) told me she has marked my cause as urgent for which i will receive a call from MMT by evening but however did not give me a guarantee of issuance of a fresh ticket for 5th in the BBS to DEL sector this time. Now I am in a limbo whether to book a fresh ticket or wait for their revert. With each passing minute the flight charges are getting escalated and moreover I have a MEDICAL EMERGENCY TO REACH DELHI ON 5TH OF MAY. Who has to bear the burnt of escalated charges, the Consumer for no fault of his? How have to be such highhanded and insolent attitude of the companies be handled for which the consumer alone is the sufferer especially with respect to such essential services.
