MakeMyTrip India — Misleading info during hotel booking by mmt | |||
I have yesterday booked a hotel on make my trip with the booking id nh[protected] in pushpak international, kolkata on 15th april 2016. After i received the voucher i realized that it was a dormitory but during the booking they displayed the pic of a single room and there was no pic of the dorm. Thus i asked for the cancellation immediately but they(Mmt) refused saying that cancellation can only be done 3 days in advance. How can one cancel the booking if it is made the same day. I also raised a complaint on mmt website with ref id[protected], but it was not resolved. Since i had no other option i had to go to the dorm which was in pathetic condition. I had a booking for 3 nights but i checked out today only and thus would ask for a refund of atleast the 2 nights. Since i have not availed the full services i am entitled for a refund and it all occurred due to misleading pics on their site while booking. I am attaching the screenshot for the same. Please note that as your booking was Non-refundable so cancellation was not possible, apart from that we have clearly mentioned on the web page and it was clearly showing AC dormitory. Hence we regret that no refund can be processed for booking.
