We are sorry to read about the issue. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Further, in reference to your concern, please be advised that the current issue is not isolated to you but to many others who booked to fly on Air Costa through not only MakeMyTrip but other agencies including airline’s own website.
When you make a booking, the fare amount is transferred to the airline. When a flight is cancelled or when a passenger decides to cancel, the due amount is received back from the airline which we refund back to the Customer.
At this juncture, the airline has still not refunded the due amount back to us and the entire industry is chasing Air Costa. I hope you will at least appreciate that we don’t run the airline. The situation of Air Costa is well known to all o[censored]s. What I can assure you is that MakeMyTrip is not holding your money and never will. The moment we get this back from the airline we will start the refund process. I also assure you once again that the issue is faced by all flyers regardless of where and who they booked their ticket from.
We are constantly asking the airline. We will begin refund the moment airline directs us to do so.
