MATS University — regarding caution money

Dear sir
I was completed my course with mats university i have paid full fee including caution money.in that one installment i hv paid by cheque for that they have not given me receipt. And remaining i paid by cash, for that all receipt i hv.
Cheque transaction details are in my passbook. But when i apply for the caution money they asking for receipt. Since they have not given me recepit for paid by cheque. How can i show them.
So please solve my problem to get my caution money.
