Hi, I ordered an LG W30 mobile display unit including touch digitizer on MaxBhi.com. They delivered the item in box packaging with proper padding within. Upon opening the box I noticed that the protective cover of the unit had so many numerous fine scratches and one slightly deep scratch from bottom right towards the center of the screen. That scratch alone could be felt when I moved my finger across. Still I went ahead and installed the unit in my phone and connected the cables and turned it on, with hopes that if i find any issue I could return the item as there is one month warranty as long as I don't remove the protective film. The display was found defective when i turned it on with vertical bands of black and white colors visible. Hence I disconnected the unit and verified that there was no physical bend or nudge apart from the scratches on the protective film. I immediately raised a replacement request through their portal and they asked for more pictures and I uploaded it within some time (attached here). They approved the return and I shipped it in the same packaging with proper padding via courier. The item had NO physical damage and was in the exact condition they sent it to me and the protective film was still on it. They received the product and rejected the replacement claiming there is physical damage and attached an image to support their claim. Attaching it here. In the image, they gave a circled indication to a spot behind the screen that appears to me like a nudge made out of a sharp object like a screw driver. I immediately responded with my pix I had taken before sending the item across and explained to them that such a sharp object piercing would never happen in the package I sent back to them. I had read earlier of cases online where MaxBhi purposefully introduce physical damage to deny replacment to faulty items they send. I hope to get a resolution to this from this forum and I earneslty request everyone to never trust their replacement policy. If the item works, good for you, else forget the money spent.
