Mgl — Inflated Gas Bill for Oct

I have received gas bill of over 3300/-, my average bill before lockdown was 750-800/- for 2 months, and I continued paying the same every 2 months whenever the bill was generated. Now suddenly, Oct bill comes for over 3300/- which is clearly inflated. Definately, there is something wrong and it might also happen that the accumulated units added to this month and I am being charged higest slab which is wrong. Even the call center says they will charge for checking whether there is some problem with the meter, which is ridiculous. I am sure many consumers must be facing this issue. Pls get this resolved ASAP.

OUR AMR LAST AUG 2019 WAS DONE. AFTER WHICH DIRECTLY AMR WAS IN AUG 2020 .
Till then we kept paying the bill that was estimated... Even though there was lockdown, you fall under essential services and hence should have come for AMR.
NEITHER DID ANYONE TURN UP NOR NOTIFY US.
NOW AFTER REGULARLY PAYING BILL UNTIL AUG 2020, A SUDDEN HIGH AMOUNT OF DIFFRENCE IS SHOWN IN THE BILL.
THOUGH CALCULATIONS WISE YOU MAY BE RIGHT, BUT A GAP OF ONE YEAR FOR CALCULATING IS V HIGH AND NOT ACCEPTABLE.
AFTER MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS, NO SOLUTION FROM MGL.
KINDLY DO THE NEEDFUL OR WE HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO MOVE TO THE CONSUMER COURT.
