I am Anoop and as like all of you I also was looking for a house in Bangalore. As I searched I found this Meridian Gardens by the MJM group loacted in Chola Nagar near Hebbal, Bangalore, Karnataka. I found the location/ budget and the apartment, decent and I also felt that Mr. Zia Uddin, who is the builder of this was a good person. I decided to buy a house there in the "B" block and I've paid him "two lakhs" as a booking amount. Later I got to know that he was trying to cheat me by offering me some other apartment which I was not interested to buy. He forced me to take that and I told him I've paid money for the house which I like, and he never agreed to give me that one by saying some unbelievable reasons. So I told him that I am not interested in this deal and to return my booking amount. Since that time he has started showing his actual behavior. When I call, he won't respond, tried to catch him in person he escaped, gave me promise by saying that he'll settle down it immediately like that and so on. Now I am in some financial emergency and needed my money back badly. When I inquired people, I got to know that many people have been faced with the same issue. I also knew that he's bribed the Hebbal, Bangalore, Policemen so that they also won't approach him for a case. If you think you can help me in getting my money back that would really save my life. Please call back or reply back to this. I also got affected by paying an advance of Rs 20 K INR, to this Zia MJM in Hebbal. This was my salary (Hard earnings).

I had also invested with MERIDIEN GARDENS, Hebbal in 2011. This Zia has cheated everybody of our money and I have invested 6.5 lakhs. My friend is also sailing in the same boat on this project. He has also invested a huge amount and no trace of this Zia now. Need to approach the consumer forum with all the available data.

I have also paid him 20% of the booking amount last year (March 2014) for hebbal project and still trying to get my amount and from last 1 month he is not answering the phone and not at his home, When he answer his phone he was telling he will pay this week next week and this story is continuing from past 1.5 year, Iam moving legally as I have 4 cheques that got bounced and i know speaking with him its of no use anymore and he is big fraud and cheater and double 420, My friend is also in same situation waiting for money and end up paying interest every month. I have an agreement and all the documents needed to proceed. I will meet Gautam this week and see how we can proceed further.4 of his projects were in the same situation and around 20-30 people were suffering and all are waiting for their money. I think everyone here have to be on one lane and fight to get our money back. Pass this to all your friends who are buying flats near Electronic city he recently shifted his business to housur. He has good local support and thats why he is playing with everyone life. We have to teach him a good lesson so he shouldn't dare to cheat people like this for his rest of the life.

Hi, Please let me know any progress made in this issue. As many of we too had booked 2 3bhk flats and paid him 50% amount on both. It has been nearly 5 years now since he kept on promising settle the issue at earliest as he was facing some issues with landlords etc. Now he is absconding and not talking phone calls either?? Please let me if all can join and meet higher authorities or even Home minister seeking help to recover our money. Pl respond < nranesh @ gmail com>.
