I am an extremely disappointed i phone 5 owner, i purchased an iphone 5 in april'13 unfortunately the phone that i got had a loose battery inside which is a manufacturing problem. The phone worked perfectly fine till 1 fine day it kept going off and coming on, so somehow i managed to send it across to the unicorn infosolutions service center for apple in andheri west mumbai, after repeatedly calling them they somehow managed to answer my phone and told me that they will open the phone and diagnose the problem then after 2 days i get a call back saying sir sorry we have already escalated the problem to the technical team but we cannot do anything for your phone as this problem is not a manufacturing defect. I was surprised as i never ever expected this to happen the phones battery was loose from day 1 did not give me any problem somehow the connector within broke and this is the answer that we get.
I spoke to the technical support team to this guy ankur from the indian technical support team from the time i started to talk to him it seems like he was disinterested to help me at all from the beginning he kept saying not possible not possible, when he did not even check what the problem was. He even agreed to the fact that its a very rare case so cause of this the benefit of the doubt is given to the customer itself.
He even claimed that i tampered the phone. Why would anyone on this planet do it when they know that the phone is covered under warranty and the store is just 5 minutes from my house? I am very very very disappointed as my hard earned money that i had saved for months together to buy my dream phone is gone down the drain.. I would advice each and every individual to never buy apple iphone 5 i[censored]r lucky you wont have a problem, i[censored] are 1 of the unlucky people you will not be getting a replacement ever if there is a genuine problem with the phone..
