I have been offered a job through mpowerjobz via a call and emails from Jessy Thomas. Is this reliable?

Absolutely NOT.
There people (mostly operating through Ladies) are scammers. They will lure you with their 'authentic' offers for best paying jobs, and convince you to pay USD 500 as their fees, which they confirm to return if they don't find you suitable job within 6 months; and in case if you get a job, they will still return your money, telling that they will recover the fees your Employer.
Once you pay them fees, they will send one job requirement (which will be very general, and not detailed one) from which you can make out that this Job Details are fake and just prepared by one of their desk-man. After 6 months, once you start asking for money refund, they will try to delay the conversation, and finally they will pay you only USD 80/- mentioning that remaining amount is their charges (200 USD for resume building, 90 USD as processing fees, 130 USD for Background verification fees, etc.)
I hope, so far you have not paid any fees...just back-off...keep yourself away from this money scoundrels.
