Dear Sir,
I bought a Mahindra Scorpio LX in October 2012. At around 33, 315 kms the back right side tyre got burst on a empty highway. For a one year old car this was unexpected.
We had approached Raj India Auto Pvt Ltd (our car dealer) with the tyre which got it sent to the MRF tyre dealer (Radhey Tyre traders, Ghazipur) for review. Subsequently it came to MRF agency at Varanasi for inspection on 5th March 2014. (Sl No. 6VN[protected]
We however got a mobile message from MRF side rejecting our case.
We strongly suspect a case of air intake by the tyre which has resulted in this tyre burst. Please find attached the picture of the burst tyre for your reference.
It is not only sad that a genuine claim has been denied but also more disappointing has been the response from the MRF agency side. Rather than doing a second review when requested, the agency very casually ignored it and did not even respond to me.
MRF is a reputed name but functioning of its agency is surely spoiling its credentials. It was not about 5- 10, 000 rupees but about customer satisfaction which sadly I did not get.
I ll surely think twice before knocking its doors for anything.
Best Regards
