I have completed my PGDFM year 20-21 from IDOL Mumbai University. I got my degree certificate for said course on 03.03.2022 but there was mistake in Marathi surname mentioned on it. So as directed by PGDFM section I went to Mahatma Jotirao Phule Bhavan and submitted said certificate for correction same day.
Since 03.03.2022 I visited Mahatma Jotirao Phule Bhavan in Kalina Campus on 15.03.2022 and 22.03.2022 and staff handling queries regarding degree certificate told me that my degree certificate has been already forwarded for correction on 04.03.2022 but till date they haven't received it back.
While filling up my form I had mentioned my correct names in English and Marathi. But while printing on degree certificate they made mistake in my surname printed in Marathi.
When I asked how much time it will take for correction they don't have any answer. And staff here telling me generally it takes 45-60 days. I asked them for any email id where I can make request for early issuance of correct certificate so they directed me to email this matter to Hon. Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University.
As I am unable to visit University after April 2022. And for inquiring students themselves need to visit University as here helpline number or email inquiries are not available so nobody on my behalf is there to collect my degree certificate.

By the end of March 2022 I am planning to go to Canada. I am planning to do further studies over there and before going I need all my certificates for this purpose. I had stuck up for this one certificate and this mistake was not done by me.
