[Resolved] Myntra.com — Atrocity and Filthy Products | |||
Honestly, I deny to all the above words quoted. I understand its 2 years old post and lot has changed over a period. Myntra has degraded to an extent today that buying from local market makes you feel worth the money. I agree that their services have improved..but what a consumer wants is balance..balance between the product quality and company services. I have faced a 2month long issue with Myntra ( a company I actually recommended people to buy from in India) but today I see it as . And there will be no surprise if Amazon flicks the turnover numbers because we as an Indian are concerned more about money than the Brand Name & Value. Just a brief about the issue (I shall later intimate you about the detail post on my blog ): Purchase 1:I purchased stuffs worth 3k to avoid shipping and have all the goods at same time. ISSUE 1: One item from that is defective, products delivered at different times Myntra Help: Returned the product Myntra Process: Transferred the amount back Purchase 2:I purchased another item of the same type from that same company (Dazzelgear). ISSUE 1: The item was under 1k so I had to pay shipping again, and the product was again of a 3rd class quality and defective Myntra Help: Returned the product Myntra Process: Transferred the amount back Purchase 3:I purchased another item of the same type from a different company (Kook n Keech) ISSUE 1: The item was now clubbed with few more stuffs to avoid shipping again, and the product was again of a 3rd class quality and defective Myntra Help: Returned the product Myntra Process: Transferred the amount back MAJOR ISSUE: Every-time the faulty product is delivered and complained of, Myntra gives a standard reply : Sir, you can return it back". I mean the reason one pays and buys stuff online is to avoid hitting the local stores and mall and for convenience. Why would someone buy from you if he has to go through all this atrocity on online shopping as well. Also, they want me to click photos of the defective product and send them, I mean come on, like you even we are employed/ run business and dont have the time to run this errands for GOD SAKE. Cant you just confirm the product while sending it forward. Also, I ordered the shoes worth 2.5K which came in a filthy box where they conveniently wrote a letter inside that say "SORRY". I mean what sub-standard way of delivering the expensive stuff and not allowing the buyer to enjoy the feel of shopping. All I am saying here is if a brand like Myntra is what we cannot trust, then where is the scope of expanding and investing this heavy money in e-commerce business by VC's.
