Nadakacheri — Non- processing of Caste and income certificate

I've applied for caste and income certificate in nadakacheri website on 31/1/22. I've even uploaded the scanned documents and paid the fee too. Its already two weeks passed still now the status of application shows as pending with NK caseworker. Until we step to their office they keep our applications pending. If they want us to visit the office then what's the purpose of online services.
Digital services should always be time-saving and people friendly avoiding multiple visits to the office. They should atleast try to understand the urgency if one has applied online for any certificate rather delaying the process and thereby making people suffer.
