I have filed a RTI vide no. STC-RTI-PIO-2964/13774 and received response from Office- District Transport Officer, Jalandhar no. 162; as under-
“It Is Here By Submitted That The National Engineering College, Jalandhar Is Having A Valid Licnese Bearing No. 4/Ts/Dto/J/92-93 Issued By This Office Under An Endorsement For Giving Training To Drivers To Drive Goods Carriage Carrying Goods Of Dangerous Or Hazardous Nature To Human Life Under Rule 24 Of Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989. Its Validity Is Up to 04/11/2017.”
I have submitted the copy of this RTI to national insurance co. ltd against a claim ODH-47813/1200 of Ms R P Transporter; they deputed an investigator for verification and responded in writing that they have received a response from DTO Jalandhar as under-
“Retd. (returned) in original with remarks that this office has not been endorsed the vehicle carrying goods of hazardous nature to National Engg. College, 184-Mota Singh Nagar Jalandhar as per this office record. ".
Both the statements are contradictory and stated by the same office and Insurer has rejected the claim.
Now I request you to please provide the proper information so that we can transfer the risk to insurer or institute whoever it may concern. Was this information helpful? |
