Nikon India — escalation regarding worst service - cochin credenser service centre | |||
Hello all - i was a nikonian since last 12 years but now i'm totally shifting my system to canon due to very very worst service provided by credenser nikon authorized service centre, cochin. I own a d3s and i recently sent to credenser on 19-oct-2017 for the following three repairs. 1.) to change the usb connector covers, 2.) to fix the eyepiece shutter lever, 3.) to clean the entire camera mainly the viewfinder & sensor but the service centre totally fooled me by their worst service. Yes.! They have fixed issue for only one (Usb covers) and the remaining two issues they didn't even tried to fix but the ultimate thing is they have billed and collected amount for all the repairs.!. When i asked the technician (Doesn't know whether he is a real camera engineer or any local guy who have been given training for some days and put into work) named adlene he doesn't even bother replying me properly instead he started threatening me like "this is all we can do".!., "if you want to clean it properly then we will have to remove all the parts it will take hell lot of time and it may damage the camera and we will not take any responsibility if any damage occurs". This is the reply i got from that technician kid. My only question is then why did you committed to repair and fix the issues and even after knowing the fact that it can't be repair completely again why did you charge me for no reason??? Initially i was told that to change the usb covers alone it will cost only inr 600. So here is my demand, nikon should return back my money except the cost o[censored]sb covers otherwise i will have to take severe action against the service centre and no matter what i won't leave this issue just like that. Photographers are buying loan and getting their camera gears and we investing lakhs for a purpose not to let the nikon's inexperienced technicians play with our life and investments.!. Many wildlife photographers and even many members from akpa also warned me to not give my camera to credenser for repair and now i paid for my mistake. No wonder why photographers are shifting to canon or other brands it's not because of the poor product of nikon but only its worst customer service.
