Nobroker — reimbursement of complete token amount paid

I am a premium customer of NoBroker, subscribed to Complete Buyer Assistance with Khata transfer+ BESCOM transfer+Tax Name change package (35, 000 INR), Property search plan (1, 700 INR), NoBroker Negotiation plan(60, 000 INR).

Recently, I had planned to buy a 3BHK property in Bangalore using NoBroker service, with NoBroker RM's taking care of the entire conversation between myself and the seller of the property. I paid the token amount of 50, 000 INR on 21 Feb 2024. During the token amount payment process, my RM Pravalika, had assured me that I would be getting a full refund on the token amount incase I do not go ahead with the purchase due to some issues with the process.

Unfortunately, I had to call off the purchase since I was not able to avail loan from reputed banks (HDFC, ICICI, Axis, SBI). I immediately notified my RM regarding my decision to avoid further delays from my end. The RM assured that they will take care of the refund process. However, when I observed that there were no actions taken for 7 days, I followed up with RM. RM requested me to speak to the seller directly for refund.

Upon conversation with the seller, I got to know that I would only be getting 50% of the refund amount. He told that he has specifically informed about this clause to NoBroker while finalizing about the token amount payment. But this was not conveyed to me by NoBroker.

The seller also stated that he had particularly mentioned to NoBroker about the property not being qualified for loans from HDFC, Axis, ICICI, SBI, with PNB and LIC being the only qualified loan provider. This information was also not shared with me by anyone from NoBroker, which could have prevented me from going ahead with property purchase and token amount payment.

After lot of conversation with the seller, I was able to get a refund (on 9th Mar 2024) of 30, 000 INR only. Since the issue is primarily due to NoBroker not providing complete information given by the seller to me, I
requested NoBroker to help me get the refund for the remaining 20, 000 INR. They assured me that they will help me get the amount, and even called me up one day saying the dispute with the seller is settled and the amount will reflect in my account shortly. But I didn't get the amount from them till date.

Due to all the issues, me and my wife have lost trust in NoBroker service and are hesitant to go ahead with their services. I would request you to help me provide the refund for the remaining token amount (20, 000 INR) and also the reimbursement for the paid services that we have availed from NoBroker [Complete Buyer Assistance with Khata transfer+ BESCOM transfer+Tax Name change package (35, 000 INR), Property search plan (1, 700 INR), NoBroker Negotiation plan(60, 000 INR)]
