I have a list of previously cancelled and delayed trains but being busy I have not submitted a complaint. However, here I am for the third time this week, about to be late for work and I will, yet again, have to spend the rest of my day making up time for something that is entirely out of my control. The train from Huddersfield to Manchester Victoria at 8.04 is rarely on time but the service has excelled itself this week by being 10 to 25 minutes late 3 out of 4 times. I even caught the earlier train and that was also 20 minutes late this Tuesday. Isn't it about time this service took some priority considering the majority of passengers are railcard commuters who not only keep the rail company going but also contribute to the county with our taxes. Or at least we will as long as we don't get sacked for being repeatedly late. Was this information helpful? |
