Hi OLX,
My name is Tapan Kumar Patra, I m from Pune and I am here to escalate the issue with a deal that I had bought on OLX.com.
The incident started with my sister purchasing a 2nd hand Laptop from a laptop dealer name Feroz, Ph- [protected] on seeing a Post at OLX.com. The deal happened during the month of April 2014, and the dealer sold the laptop for 8000/- . Now about the issue, following are the details.
1. The dealer never provided us the bill during the time of purchase, instead explained no warranty and guarantee policy pertaining to 2nd hand electronic products.
2. The dealer never informed in detail about the faults which includes genuinity of the OS, Driver incompatibility and LAN issues.
3. Dealer was rude and denied providing any help when connected to discuss about the issue and resolution for the same.
The above mentioned informations are the key issues that I had to face and there's more however I am not highlighting them now rather do it when an investigation process is initiated.
Now talking about OLX, being a brand in the industry and known for its services, I as a customer expected excellent service, and if not that at least good customer service, but I am sorry to say that OLX has let me down big time be as a brand or be in terms of customer services.
I would request OLX to take immediate action against the dealer and help us get our issue resolved if not I m going to file a consumer case against the dealer and if situation occurs against OLX for allowing dealers to post there ads and not doing the complete investigation about how the services was provided to the customer.
