Oriental Insurance Company - Pnb/mediassist — Reimbursement not given + Money being asked for to resolve issue/confirmation needed

Address: New Delhi, Delhi

Dear Team, This is in continuation to my complaint regarding non-reimbursement of our medical insurance (Mediassist/Oriental insurance PNB). Our current limit is 5 lakhs but we have been denied reimbursement of above 2 lakhs. Details of our insurance are - 1. Claim ID[protected] 2. patient name - Ashim Kumar Chatterjee 3. Policy holder - Jyotsna Chatterjee We received a follow-up call from Complaints department on the same from Mr. Deepak Sharma & Mr. Raj Malhotra (contact number - [protected]), and we were asked to transfer an amount of Rs. 6574 and Rs. 15000, to an account number belonging to Mr. Vinod Thakur (Account number - [protected]; Address - G-44, Sector 22, Noida; Phone number - [protected]). We have already made this transaction, following which we are now being asked to again make a transaction of Rs. 21000. We do not have any further amount with us and are unable to transfer the same. We wanted to confirm from the department if this is something that happens by rule, as we are not aware of any such process. We are more than happy if the issue gets resolved, and the amount we are entitled to is transferred to the hospital directly or to our account, as the case may be. Waiting for a prompt response, Jyotsna Chatterjee [protected]; [protected]
