Parking Area — Parking Area Charges

1. An open area near FIITJEE Centre gurgaon ( Institutional Area, Sector 44, Near Apparel House, Gurgaon - 122 001 (Haryana) has been designated as Authorised Parking of HUDA. Relevant area indicated by red in map attached.
2. On 17/1/2018 I parked car in that parking area assuming it to be a authorised parking area wherein I was given a parking slip at entry. The slip did not indicate any parking amount, no address or any other marking from which the parking area can be traced. Photo of slip attached.(Photo 1)
3. Also, no parking charges was displayed anywhere, nor even at entry / exit.
4. On exit I was charged Rs.40/-. Since no amount was printed on the parking slip or displayed anywhere in that area I asked the attendant authenticate the amount. He could not give any satisfactory reply. Later, on my insistence he indicated the amount on the parking slip.(Photo -2)
5. Since, the amount is not displayed anywhere in the area and nor any details are indicated on the parking slip, the parking attendant is at a liberty to ask for any amount. If the parking is authorised parking of HUDA, action should be taken to displayed the amount in parking slip and at entry / exit. If the parking is unathorised, action should be taken to see that no charges are levied.
