Passport Office Thane — Still showing the the report has been sent to police commissioner, Thane for verification

I had applied for passport on 21/4/2023 and verification was done on 24/4/2023. But till now psk site is showing that it is submitted at police commissioner, Thane, for review. Why is there a delay and how to find out whether there are any issues with the documents or something else.
