I wish to bring to your kind notice that i had invested an amount of rs. 60, 000/- (Rs. Sixty thousand only) in fixed deposits with m/s pennar patterson (Now dissolved company) and these fdr were due for payment on 02.4.1999.

I approached the company for repayment of maturity value on 16.3.1999 and understood that the company was under liquidation process undertaken by official liquidator. The company has collected all my fixed deposits and given me the acknowledgment receipts, sl. No. 54 to 57 as stated above. After retirement of my husband, we settled near chennai, in the address given below. I approached your office several times over phone and in personal and was advised to wait for completion of the liquidation process.
I have been waiting for more than 20 years for getting the amount invested in the company. As i am residing in tamilnadu i am not aware of the happenings of the liquidation process and the present status. The acknowledgement receipts given by the company at the time surrendering the fdrs are attached for your perusal.
I request you to consider the above facts and do justice to me to meet the marriage expenditure of my daughter and for my survival at this old age.
