I got a call from person called Ashish Kumar Pahari and Rajdeep Singh on my rental inquiris posted on online portal like 99 acres, magicbricks. They asked me to share photos and videos of flat so they can take permission from his family. After sharing the photos, next day they replied saying that they liked the flat and will be confirming paying rental and deposit amount. I asked them to visit face to face but they were avoiding and telling that Indian army has different process. Once army released HRA amount then only they can travel and initiate the transfer. To release HRA amount, they need to confirm the place where they are going to stay and need to mention their rent/deposit/owner information. I agreed and they arranged a call with their senior where I've been told to inform rent/deposit information. Surprisingly he asked detail about my bank details. I was agape and forced them to initiate the amount via UPI based on my mobile number but they were reluctant. They told me to initiate the 1 rs transfer from Google pay to their HDFC back account. I felt suspicious and cut down the call. Later on I found on internet that many people are dumped by these fraudsters. Kindly take some action as these people speaks on the name of Army and looting inocent people. Was this information helpful? |
