PG — Advance amount not refunded.

I was living in a PG before lockdown. Then on 15th April told the owner that I will vacate the place as WFH is allotted.(Rent and Advanced amount already paid)
The owner refused to pay back the advanced amount and is insisting me to live in him PG now to get the advanced money back. He is not even ready to share the rent slip with me, says "come to my PG and collect it"
He should not do this with my hard earned money. Please help in getting the amount refunded. I have the call recordings for proof, don't have rent agreement as he refused to share, He has also not shared the police verification till date.
