Dear Sir, I received below letter from this company where I never had any credit card from RBS or ABN Amro. This company is cheating so many people and playing with CIBL scores. Please help me to fix this issue 😭.

Dear Sir/ Madam,
We are writing to inform you that your Credit Card account number mentioned above with
The Royal Bank of Scotland N.V. in India (”us” or “RBS”) has been transferred to Phoenix ARC
Private Limited (“Phoenix”) acting in the capacity as the Trustee of Phoenix Trust FY12-6 on 30
April 2012 (the “Assignment Date”).
Phoenix is a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 and is registered as a
securitization and asset reconstruction company pursuant to Section 3 of the Securitization and
Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 having its
registered office at 7th Floor, Dani Corporate Park, 158, C.S.T Road, Kalina, Santacruz (E),
Mumbai - 400 098.
What the transfer means to you
Your obligations to pay to us all outstanding amounts in respect of your Credit Card account
mentioned above have been transferred to Phoenix on the Assignment Date.
Credit Card account Number
Your Credit Card account number as mentioned above remains unchanged until any further
notice from Phoenix and you can continue using the same account number for making payments
to Phoenix unless advised otherwise by Phoenix.
Right to collect with effect from the ‘Assignment Date’
Phoenix has the right to collect the outstanding amount and overdue amount if any from you with
effect from the Assignment Date. They have the discretion to appoint agents for recovery of the
outstanding amount or initiate any other actions allowed by law for recovery of all monies owed
on this Credit Card account without any specific communication in this regard with effect from the
Assignment Date.
For your convenience, you may make your payments with RBS only at our branches prior to 30
May 2012. With effect from the Assignment Date, please do not engage with or make any
payments to any person representing RBS outside of RBS branches.
Payment Due
Please note that your entire outstanding amount is overdue and is payable immediately.
Treatment on your records with RBS
The transfer of your Credit Card account would mean that all your existing agreements for
provision of the Credit Card account mentioned above along with all related records and
information (including personal information) held by us are being transferred to Phoenix.
