Since I’m a fresh graduate and it’s COVID time, I was searching for work from home on various websites and uploaded my data in Quickr. The next day I got a call from Phoenix DotNet (Rishi Rajput: +[protected] where he told me about a scheme where I have to fill up 430 forms in 4 days and to which he added there is no registration fee in the beginning but it’ll be deducted from the salary (₹13000-₹14000) when you finish the work. I wanted to support myself, so I sent my passport copy, my picture and a signature. My work was from[protected] till[protected]. On the very first day, I was logged out to which I had to pay them ₹8000 (refundable) for maintenance charge. I finished my work on[protected] and I told them. And then they prepared a report that the company suffered a big loss and I could correct my mistakes if I paid another ₹15000. To which I said no. He said pay the registration and we will close the employment contract or else a case will be registered. So I did that as well hoping to get my ₹8000 maintenance money back which I did not. Now a guy calls me up saying he is a lawyer and I have to go to Gujarat court in 4 days or an FIR will be filed against me. Or else send the money electronically (₹21980). He was threatening me that if I didn’t do it, I’ll be liable to pay lakhs of rupees. So I consulted many similar problems and decided not to pay. I blocked all the numbers. Now that I checked a consumer complaint portal, I saw the name of the same advocate Abhay Singh (L. No 4118) threatening the other guy to use his details for illegal things. And then I checked their address and some other company is based there.

They are harass me like crazy but I just block them off. When I had to pay the maintenance the guy was like pay it in 10 minutes or you’ll have to pay the registration. They won’t say anything before the beginning of the work, as soon as the fake employment contract gets mailed to you, you can’t back off.
