Poco — Motherboard issues with Poco x3 after update.

I had purchased a Poco X3 on December, 2020 from Flipkart India. The device worked fine until an update in December, 2021. The device went into boot loop and would not work at all. I managed to somehow get it functional again. I had noticed that the front camera and the Ultra wide had stopped working and opening those features would cause the camera app to crash. I did not proceed to fix it as I didn't use those features and was out of warranty.

But, recently on the 17th of June, 2023, the speakers stopped working with a static noise when audio was played. This was the case with both stereo speakers. Slowly, it deteriorated and no sound was available. I had approached Poco authorised service Centre in Trivandrum, Kerala, India on the 19th of June. They had checked the device and stated that it had motherboard issues and the whole mother board would have to be changed. They quoted a price of 75% the cost of the phone which is as good as saying that buying a new device is better.

Since then, the issues have become worse. I cannot use the camera app at all since it crashes after one click. The phone automatically gets stuck at random times and reboots. It is getting very difficult to use it now. I have been informed that there is a chance that the device will be completely unusable following these symptoms.
