Postal Service Government Of India — Loss of article

I've ordered a parcel from netherlands (Vide tracking id. Rs[protected]nl).From midnapore head post office it returned to kolkata. I was at home all along but internet tracking shows that the article is undelivered. Due to the negligence of midnapore head post office (Pin 721101)the article did not reach to me.Even when i contacted them to email the kharagpur rms to retain the article the senior post master and his staffs denied my plea outright. I want compensation.
