Prashanth Super Speciality Hospital, Velachery — death of my mother due to wrong diagnosis and treatment | |||
This is based on my own experience with prashanth where i lost my mother due to irresposible and stupid emergency care team. They do not know the seriousness of senior patients walking in at 11 pm in the night, they cooly take an ecg and do not care to read the ecg to see if the patient has really suffered an cardiac attack. They ignore all the symptoms told by my mother and suggested "gastric problem" just like illiterates do, and sent her home. Myy mother passed away in 48 hrs due to this. After my mothers death we indeed found out from another cardiologist that ecg taken from prashath had shown abnormal reading which was not considered by the stupid duty doctors at prashanth!!! When we approached them for an explanation they called police and threatened us. Till today we have not received any explanation from them. This is the true picture of prashanth! One of the worst hospital I have seen. Doctors wont respond properly they will take test but they wont share any result to you. of all you have to go and talk to sister but they themselves will act as doctor for that I don't understand why we have to pay that much of money. They will ask you to pay a big money even if you have cashless insurance and while discharging they wont give our money also after 5 days of discharged we didn't get our money back. I strongly recommend don't waste your money

One of the worst hospital today my grandma died road accident we thought the hospital best treatment best doctor but not the best hospital last minute they demanding amount i[censored] admit there u must 1st pay 50, 000 then they 'll consider about treatment otherwise they don't allowing any accident case finally 13000 medicine u must pay for it almost my grandma died that hospital remember the movie name of Ramana be careful be aware
Velachery Prashanth hospital : Worst treatment for pediatrician, doctors are changing every time..there is no standard chief doctors for pediatrician. For tests they are charging more than normal cost. The medicines are provided without proper instructions, they give more medicines to babies which cause issue to babies. Medicines are not given as per combination that suits the babies, they give randomly and its combo cause health issue to babies. They do dressing without parents and they dont intimate parents while giving saline. Please prefer other child specialist hospitals or clinic. Not suggested for pediatric..
I had very very bad experience with this hospital. I don’t have any infertility problem. I have incompatibility blood issues. That’s why I went this hospital.
# Dr. Geetha Haripriya never read our previous medical report and she doesn’t know patients previous history. Before she starts treatment she should read the reports and need to discuss with patients.
# They don’t protect patients privacy. There is a small room they keep about 10 patients inside and each patients show her their reports other patients know what the problem for the each patients. Feeling very very bad. Dr. Haripriya should change this and she needs to protect patients privacy.
# When they take scan they don’t put any cover on the bed to lie down for patients. You will other Illnesses easily. The hospital bathrooms are nasty, if you use it you will immediately get infection. There are so many pregnancy women got infected.
Dr. Geetha focus only money.
Doctors, Nurses and other employees don’t know how to treat patients. They are very very rude. They treat patients like they provide free treatment.
I have so many things to write but I don’t have time.

My residence is near Prashanth hospitals. Today early morning my friend got heavy ear pain due to foreign body intrude. We don’t know what was inside hence rushed to prashanth hospitals with much confidence and they said there is no equipment available to check what was pestering his ears! A superficial multispecality hospital couldn’t treat this basic problem and we really stumbled when we were asked to take him to another hospital immediately. On seeing their inability can we trust this hospital for highly sensitive treatments ??? A creepy experience!
Worst hospital.fully money minded. Went to this hospital as my kid was having fever all the test was taken and finally they said it was viral fever and asked to leave but it was typhoid and we found that in another hospital. They wasted 1 week.Also 2nd time I visited to ENT doctor Rajaseker for issue related to throat.. He is not ready to hear my problem and started suggesting to take all the unnecessary test for the sake of money.Finally I paid the consulting fee alone and escaped from this hospital.cured my problem by visiting nearby small clinic. .please don't waste ur money and time by going to this hospital. They will never pay attention to cure your disease. Doctors also won't come to OP on correct time and you need to wait for long time. Such worst experience I never heard..
Not sure how others call this an 'Excellent Hospital'. My experience was horrible. On two occasions two of my family members went to the hospital and both were told they need to be admitted. In first case it was debatable whether hospitalization was needed, but giving the benefit of doubt to the doctor who scared my relative and made her feel extra sick before admitting her.
Second occasion a child was taken for a breathing problem which a simple nebulizer dose would have solved, but the hospital said unless the baby was admitted they will not treat the child and sent the baby away. I am not sure I understand how any doctor can even do that - send away people who are sick because they don't want to give you more of their money. Horrible!
