Sub : Repayment of my Fixed Deposit with your Company Ref : FDR No. 8743 for Rs. 40, 000/- (DoM 09/06/2015) This has reference to my captioned Fixed Deposit, which is maturing on 09/06/2015. Being a housewife, small investor and fully depending on the interest income, you are requested to kindly pay the maturity proceeds on the maturity date and oblige. In this regard I refer to your letter dated 25th March 2015, received by me last fortnight, and would like to express my objection and the reasons given in the said letter for non-repayment of the fixed deposit and interest thereon. If the company is having any difficulties in finance, it should approach the bankers for loan and should not play with the small investors’ money. Moreover, as per the provisions of 164 of the new Companies Act, 2013, the Directors would be liable personally / vacate office as Director if the deposits are not paid on maturity and / or interest thereof, which you please note.
