[Resolved]  Punarnawa Crafts — Snapdeal has tortured and manipulated my order status

Dear Consumer Forum Kindly consider this mail with utmost sincerity. This is my second consumer case soon after I registered against DTDC. I am tired of this cheat and unprofessional attitude of Indian companies. I had ordered one fan from snapdeal on 23rd early morning and payment was successful as per bank message but soon after that snapdeal sent me message saying that payment was unsuccessful and I must try again and if money is debited it will be refunded (image attached for proof). Next day on 24th I wrote to them. I never got any further mail or order booking confirmation from them. On 24th I wrote to them and they sent me below mail: Snapdeal Team, Oct 24 15:39: Dear Subrata, Thank you for contacting Snapdeal.com We are sorry to know about the inconvenience you have faced while transacting on our website. We would like to inform you that as per our payment gateway confirmation, the transaction made by you was unsuccessful. Request you to kindly try to make the payment once again. In case of being charged for the unsuccessful transaction the amount would be automatically refunded through bank into your account within 5-7 working days. At the same time, we do certainly value your concern and will ensure to further enhance your shopping experience with us. We admire your patience and would like to thank you for your co-operation. In case of any further assistance or clarification on this issue, please reply back to this email. Assuring you of our best services always, Yours sincerely, Customer Service Team – Snapdeal.com [protected][protected][protected][protected][protected][protected]------ After that I purchased another fan on 24th October believing that I will get my money back as per snapdeal. After that I contacted my bank for my money refund on the failed payment done on 23rd October and they said to wait for 7 days and still money was not refunded. I again wrote to bank and they raised a complain which again took 7 days and found that money was debited successfully on same date 23rd October. Soon after that I wrote to snapdeal and to my amazement I found that my snapdeal account was automatically updated without my knowledge, consent, any mail or sms confirmation about the ordered fan on the same date as 23rd. How can they do it when they clearly mentioned that order was no booked due to failed transaction and for which i raised a complain the next day. I never got any mail and sms as well and as per snapdeal your order is successfully placed only when you receive a confirmation mail or sms soon after your payment and in my case i had never received. I wrote to snapdeal continuously for three days and no one responded. I tried to call them since morning and finally i got to speak to someone at 12.00 am and he first accepted some issue then he also slept on phone and there was a long pause. I was shocked at this unprofessional behaviour. I was given this time to contact them back as they were facing some server issue. After a long call finally he said he cannot help as he said that since payment is debited order is confirmed and it cannot be cancelled. First he said your money is safe with us. He was utterly confused and talking as if doing some formality. Conclusion was order is placed. I explained him my case again and again and later I realized he was just having fun by being unresponsive or may be by keeping my phone on hold. I was ashamed and disgusted with this. I even said I am forced to go to consumer forum he was absolutely fine with it. On 27th October I got one message from snapdeal that for the first time mentioned this order number status (image attached), I never placed any order on 27th october. They manipulated my snapdeal account and the account never had this order mentioned on 23rd october but soon after 27th October I saw these changes. That means they have processed it on 27th without my consent and as I was unaware and didn't take action they even changed the order status on my snapdeal account. Only when bank told me on 3rd November I realized something fishy and I checked throughly and found this big cheat. How can they place an order without my knowledge. I didn't realize that this message was not talking about the fan that was ordered on 24th but it was an independent order in itself. On 27th October why will they send me sms when I didn't book this order. Something is very fishy and highly manipulative about this whole incidence and to my shock no one from snapdeal has responded or taken this issue into consideration. Please help this order value was 4999 and the second order that i had to place again as I needed this fan for my store was for 5100. I not only paid 100 more but also lost my previous 4999.Till date I have not received any fan and it was promised 29th October and today is 5th November. This order is non-cancellable. Now I am badly trapped by them. I want justice. I want my money back for the fan that they have ordered on 23rd October without any confirmation and also I want my fan that I have paid for on 24th October and it still has not reach me.
