Dear Sir,
I'm a frequently travelling from Chandigarh to Pathankot by Volvo bus of Punbus. Today Morning I had caught the Bus from Sector 43 Bus stand for Pathankot & the Bus no. was 1913.
When I asked ticket for Mirthal the Booking clerk said usually You are taking ticket up to Pathankot than I told him the Bus driver & conductors said that they will not drop me in between Mirthal & Pathankot & hence I asked you to give me ticket up to Mirthal.
After that the booking clerk has advised the Bus conductor to drop me at my destination & I took the ticket up to Pathankot by paying Rs-565/-.
The Time I standup to get down from the bus at my destination 3 Kms. after Mirthal, The Bus driver of Bus No.1913 has shouted on me & asked whom you have asked before starting your Journey. I replied that I asked to the conductor as well as the booking clerk who has issued the ticket. Than The bus driver said if next time you will travel by this bus I will not allow you to travel or if somebody allowed than I will not stop the bus at your stop.
This was quite surprising for me in the morning itself as I have not expected such behavior from the bus driver. I simply replied Bhaisaab I'm also getting late on my duty & would be thankful if you can drop me at my destination 3 KMS. after Mirthal.
Here would like to ask few questions from you,
1.Does the Bus Driver/Conductor has given the authority to Mis-behave with Passengers all the time? as this is 5th time with me itself.
2.Does the Bus driver/Conductor can stop the bus anywhere for their none persons & if a passenger ask to do so the start mis-behaving?
I urge to you to issue guidelines to all your drivers/Conductors to behave appropriately with Passengers as it replicates the image of State.
Hope for a favorable & stern action against the concern bus driver.
