Sub:- Misleading advertisement, publicity of BLUE link (safety) feature guaranteed in HYUNDAI CRETA Knight edition SX petrol.

Dear Sir/Ma’am,

With reference to above mentioned subject I would like to inform you that my HYUNDAI CRETA car registration no. DL9CBC2870, VIN MALPC812TPM527037, Engine No. G4FLPV569370 purchase on 5th July’23 and stolen on 22nd Oct’23(FIR copy enclosed).

I am surprise & shocked to know that my car was stolen despite having high end antitheft “BULE Link” customised feature installed. This feature was advertised, published and marketed to me with much assurance and safety that it gave me confidence to buy such a high end car (HYUNDAI CRETA Knight edition SX petrol).

The VIN sticker of the car was not removed by the showroom staff on the date of delivery of the car as per company’s protocol/policy. This amounts to negligence because as per Delhi Police the VIN sticker is used by robbers to make a duplicate key which is compromise with security feature of the car. The company should have been aware of vulnerability of such policies.

All security feature did not work as guaranteed. The GPS feature of the care was disabled and the last location of the car last provided by the customer care department of “BULE link “was the place from where the car was stolen (report enclosed). No further information till date of the location of the car is available.

For misleading me of security feature and assuring me to buy the car, I formally lodge a compensation of Rs.20.25 Lakhs which I paid on-road price plus legal expense on Hundai Motors India Ltd, Frontier Motors Pvt.Ltd .

I give 15 days’ time to respond to the above notice, failure on which I shall take legal recourse to claim the amount.
