Redmi Mi — No service provided

I purchased redmi note 3 online from mi redmi directly. The set is under warranty for one year for service and parts replacement. Due to un-avoidable reasons the set remain packed for four months. I opened only last week for inserting jio sim. It was found the mic was not working. I went to banu computers, lower bazar shimla being sole service center of redmi mi at shimla. He opened the set and said mic needs to be replaced. He advised to bring the bill tomorrow. As per his advice i went next day with bill. He opened the set and replaced the mic. However, he charged 513.00 for replacement which includes rs. 250.00 service charges. The set is under warranty. I argued with him and received the bill under protest. Now he says that set was physical damaged. I am surprised there was no physical damaged it is brand new set in very good conditions. The problem is only with mic which was noticed during talk. I immediately reported the matter with the company. Surprisingly, the company also talked in same tune and refused to return the charges. It is really shocking. If the company does not provide service under warranty then this could be serviced from open market with lessor cost. For manufacturing defects the company is responsible. I gave them the option for third party inspection. The company did not responded. Company needs to be advised to fulful their commitment and the expenses borne by me needs to be refunded.
