[Resolved] Renault — Booking taken without even manufacturing car

I wanted to share this bad experience of KUN Renault dealer Kattupakkam chennai and Renault manufacture. Made booking of Kiger CVT RXZ Single tone on 5th March and Sales consultant assured 100% that car would be delivered in 3 weeks time by 25th March. On 22nd March i enquired on status of deliver of car, Sales team said that car wont be available because Renault didn't manufacture a single CVT unit from Feb 2022. Now they are claiming that there would be price increase from 1st April 2022 for all variants. They are not sure about the date of delivery. My question would be why would dealer take booking for a car which didn't manufactured from Feb 2022 and promised to deliver the car by March end.
