Sir,
I k.g.krishnappa retired director of factories and boilers govt of Karnataka, aged 75 years, having savings bank account no.[protected] in SBI rt Nagar 2nd main branch Bengaluru, Karnataka, do hereby submit my complaint, regarding, un authorisly fishing out Rs.1, 13, 000 and 3, 49, 999, at about 11 am on 15th February 2023, within 5 minutes. By seeing the sms received about the transaction. I immediately rushed to the bank, met the manager personally and intimated to him. he checked my sb account and confirmed that the said two amounts have been deducted from my account and left with bear minimum of Rs 2200. He advised me to file a complaint to cyber branch police and bring the FIR, I did it and FIR copy was handed over to him on the same day. He assured me that since I have come to the bank and reported within half an hour, you amounts will be shadow reversed to my account with in 10 days. I was very happy with his assurance and returned home.
Next day I got two mails, stating that, complaints no.[protected] andno.[protected] have been registered about my account unauthorized transactions, they will be investigated.

ON 12th june2023 I got a mail that both cases have been resolved, and amounts have been shadow reversed to my account. Immediately I rushed to the bank and showed the mail to the manager, he said he has not received that mail nor any amounts have been reversed to my account. I happen to visit every day to the bank and no updates have come him regarding my complaints. Desperately on 18 th of august 2023 I reported to the GM sbi consumer care and explained in detail and complained about not actioning the resolution passed on 12 th June 2023 in my cases and not implemented even after two months. He registered my complintno.[protected].and sent me a mail that your case will be resolved in 10 days. on 22 aug.2023 he sent a mail that my cases have been resolved and stated that my cases have been escalated to the internal ombudsman for final decision, and the same is awaited.
Sir, as I have already stated in the preamble. that I am a retired officer and only pension to my account., on which my family lives, and the amount fished out from my account is the savings out of my pension, I had not done any online transactions from my phone. How can the bank online system can err in allowing such big amounts within few minutes. Is it not the banks online system failure, for which I have become the victim and suffering financially and mentally at this age.
I am having grate respects to RBI, I salute for the day-to-day warnings being issued about the frauds, as I have fallowed the guidelines. in spite of this I have been cheated by hacking my phone by a scrupulous fellow for which I think your online banking systems safety has not been satisfactorily updated to stop such unscrupulous hacking activities to the customers who keep their savings in banks believing that they will be safely secured and insured against such frauds.
I hope my complaint is resolved as early as possible, since it is six months that i have deprived of my hard-earned pension for which the bank has not come to my rescue. Any further information required.pleaese mail me at [protected]@yahoo.co.in .and. m y mobile no.[protected].
