[Resolved]  Royal Oak Furniture / Woods Incorporation — Replacement of defective Bar Stool - BST033BL Senate Barstool

Appears to be a fraudulent company. They sell on Estimate Invoice for which payment is taken in two separate swipes with two different internal invoice numbers and on two different entities having two different TID numbers. This was my first transaction with them on a 50% off scheme advertised in all the local papers using full page adverts. I purchased home furniture and outdoor furniture from their Indiranagar outlet totalling to Rs. 1, 21, 527 which was billed as Rs. 64871 on TID no: 47009717 and Rs. 56656 on TID no: 92313285 on the 11th of January 2014. These included an item with product code and description BST033BL Senate Barstool -5 qty 2Nos at total all inclusive price of Rs. 6627 after discounts. Delivery and assembly of all items were carried out in multiple part deliveries across three months. One of the Bar Stool pair was found to be old material used as showroom show piece and was damaged and incomplete. Request was made to replace the same and accepted by Royal Oak Indiranagar personnel. It is now over seven months from date of sale and despite repeated promises of delivery every other week, today the Indiranagar showroom tells me that both employees Shariff and Rahul have left the company and that they cannot do anything. Showroom personnel have been trained to tell customers to contact only customer service help desk and website also does not carry even email id of management for redressal of claims. I am not interested in refund and would like to have replacement as promised. However I would strongly advise all prospective customers to be aware that this company does not have customer oriented processes and is only interested in duping customers if they can get away with it.
