Royal Sundaram General Insurance — cheating in claims settlement | |||
My mother has health insurance with royal sundaram. Policy number hc[protected]. Before admitting her to cataract operation i checked with insurance customer support executive (Online chat) regarding the coverage for the same. As per the customer support executive the limit is as per sum assured amount because the policy was active since 4years. Based on the confirmation i sent original documents post operation. Now the response from insurance 1. There was no update or acknowledgment regarding receipt of claim documents. Reason - sever was done. 2. No response to emails regarding enquiries. Reply from insurance - sorry for incovenience. Concerned team will look into it. 3. Final claim settlement amount was 7500rs as against total claim of 40000rs. Reason - limit for cataract is 7500rs per year. 4 they don't have basic courtesy to call customer and ask for his grievances and resolve it. 5.
