[Resolved] Royal Sundaram General Insurance — yet to receive my claim amount and it's been many months since its approved. | |
I have been talking to this team since many months and i am here after utter frustration on the royal sundaram over the issue they handle and promises they made. Policy details: "'royal sundaram=[protected]' cce[protected] hospital cash policy" Please note, this one isn't the first time the issue i have faced with this people since the policy made. Right from the beginning i have fought about their capture of details in policy and in my first settlement of claim then now. Now its in high, i had applied for the claim for 12k as per the policy committed upon my hospital expenditures. But finally they settled it for 6k. For that too, i said ok as i didn't wanted to waste anymore time fighting with them. On aug 27 i applied for claim and sent the necessary details via e-mail as well as by courier. Until post one month there was not a single piece of communication, post one month on sept 27th i made a call and inquired the status, they said its under process... And on oct13 i receive a email stating that "this is with reference to our email dated september 27, 2018. Ih18000118: we would like to inform you that the claim has been approved and settled for rs.6000/- through cheque" later here i am pasting the communication with dates.. Received this e-mail on nov 4th "this is with reference to our email dated october 28, 2018. We wish to inform you that based on your representation claim has been approved and settled for rs.6000/- through cheque, the same will be dispatched within 3 working days." Received this e-mail on nov 23rd "this is with reference to your email dated november 05, 2018. We understand your concern and apologize for the delay in our response. We would like to inform that the claim has been approved for rs.6000/- and the neft will be initiated within 3 working days." Received this e-mail on dec 8th "this is with reference to your email dated december 07, 2018. We understand your concern in this regard. We shall look into your request and revert in 3 working days." Till today i. E jan 4th 2019. Those 3 working days aren't met. Was this information helpful? | |
